And I Hope you have a good day, Ahead. I found the solution to the problem. There are two Intel Smart Sound Technology devices listed under 'System Devices'.
The first is the Audio Cotroller and the second is called OED. I was unable to get the OED device woking with any of the drivers on the computer or that I downloaded. There were 4 drivers for the Audio Controller. What finally worked was matching the driver dates on both devices and that let the OED device install and start.
The only issue I have found, now that all the devices are working, is that the sound panel (under control panel) will not play sounds by pressing the test button. However, all applications seems to play fine. So I'm not going to worry about this. Maybe a future driver update will fix the test sound problem. But it is a very minor issue.
